HT Materials Science completes €15 million Series-A round
HMT LLP, advised HT Materials Science (“HTMS”), a developer of sub-micron-based heat transfer fluid technologies on the completion of their €15m Series-A funding from world-leading investors Aramco Ventures, the venture arm of Saudi Aramco, Barclays, via its Sustainable Impact Capital portfolio, CDP Venture Capital SGR, through its corporate venture capital fund, Corporate Partners I and Progress Tech Transfer (PTT), to fund the global deployment of its innovative energy reduction technology.
HT Materials Science (HTMS) is the developer of Maxwell™, an innovative heat transfer fluid additive that reduces energy consumption in commercial cooling and heating systems by up to 15%. HTMS’ blue-chip clients include Saudi Aramco, Johnson & Johnson, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Swire Pacific and Ericsson.
EU, US and UK governments have all recently announced targets and initiatives for improving energy efficiency and reducing emissions in real estate and process cooling applications globally.
This is the third transaction on which HMT has advised HTMS and included identifying new strategic investment partners, negotiating detailed investment terms and project managing the deal to a successful completion.
